Group Music Lessons

Group lessons are a fun, low-pressure way to get started on you or your student’s musical journey. It’s a great way to learn something new, jam with others, or add to what you’re already doing in private lessons.
The total cost of group lessons is $160, but shared evenly among participants- so the more who join (max 8), the lower the price per person! We also provide some of the instruments, so no need to buy anything upfront.

Just like our 1:1 music lessons, we tailor our groups to the students' unique learning styles, so the way lessons take shape, may vary slightly. This may include music games, solo playing, group jamming, and more. Group lessons are smaller than a large music class, so there is more individualized support available, but incorporates the collaborative/communal experience that is not always available in 1:1 lessons. Whether you’re testing the waters or just want to play with a group, we’ve got you covered!

All groups are open to beginners, ages divided into groups of 4-6 year olds, 7-10 year olds, 11-13, and 14+ (with flexibility depending on sign ups).
We are currently offering group lessons for: piano, guitar, and voice in our Columbia office. Pianos/guitars are limited, so space is limited (of course, if you have your own instrument, you are welcome to use it!).
