What’s Included:

  • Three versions of the Hidden Notes Picture Puzzles

  • Answer Key

Set Up:

  • Print out the worksheet

  • Option to laminate to make it reusable

How it Works:

The picture puzzles provided have the musical alphabet hidden amongst the winter wonderland scene. Have your students find each letter (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) in the picture one at a time. After a letter is found, have your student find all of the notes on the piano. For example, if they find the letter G in the picture search, they can now go to the piano and locate ever G on the keyboard.

Accessibility Options:

There are three puzzles provided. One is in color and includes letters that are smaller and a similar color to their background to make them blend in and be more hidden. A second version is in color and has all of the letters in black and bolded to help them stand out a bit more. A third is in black and white with bolded letters. Everyone’s vision and visual processing is different. If the provided puzzles are not supportive to your student’s learning style, switch it up. Provide clues such as “What letter can you find in the lake?” or “Do you see any letters going sledding?” An answer key is provided with each letter circled.
